Sprinkle: MVP design for a nonpartisan grassroots political platform.

Sprinkle is a non-partisan grassroots tool that helps people find and support political candidates who align with their values through contributions and social sharing.

The Problem

Voters struggle to discover like-minded candidates and want a simple way to support and promote them meaningfully.

The Solution

We designed a platform where users take a values quiz, discover aligned candidates, and contribute with one-time or recurring donations. They can follow candidates, create shareable movement pages, and spread awareness through their networks.

Business Goals

As a portfolio company of Platform Venture Studio, Sprinkle aimed to launch an MVP in 6–8 weeks to gather early insights and guide next steps. I collaborated closely with the team from concept to launch. These original designs represent the MVP we shipped.

UI Foundations

Before diving into individual screens, here’s a representative look at the core design system that supported rapid MVP development.

Color Palette A minimal, high-contrast palette built for accessibility and brand recognition across product and marketing surfaces.

Typography A clear type system that supports hierarchy and reinforces the brand’s approachable, modern tone.

Basic UI Components Foundational building blocks created for clarity, consistency, and speed — designed to grow with the product and scale with the system.

Mobile Experience Highlights

A mobile-first platform designed to simplify civic engagement, from discovering aligned candidates to building grassroots movements and contributing with ease.

Candidate Matching Quiz A values-based quiz helps users quickly find candidates who align with their beliefs and priorities.

Matched Candidates View matched candidates, dig into key data, or search freely — transparency and flexibility built in.

Creating a Movement Users can rally support by curating and sharing public-facing “Movements” of aligned candidates.

Making a Contribution Sprinkle makes donating simple: users can contribute to multiple candidates with just a few taps.
