SI Showcase

SIID is an evidence discovery tool that helps legal professionals evaluate case data faster by transcribing media files and providing AI-powered summaries, analyses, and pattern insights.

The Problem

Public defenders face overwhelming caseloads and disconnected tools, making case-building inefficient. They need a solution to reduce manual work and improve collaboration.

The Solution

We designed an AI-powered tool that streamlines case file analysis, helping public defenders transcribe media, identify key insights, and collaborate more effectively—all within a seamless, intuitive interface.

Business Goals

As a portfolio company of Platform Venture Studio, SIID aimed to launch an MVP in 6–8 weeks to gather early insights and guide next steps. I collaborated closely with the team from concept to launch. These original designs represent the MVP we shipped.

All Projects Easily start, manage, and monitor all legal cases from one central hub with built-in notifications and streamlined project creation.

Project Dashboard Each project dashboard summarizes case activity with AI-generated overviews, key moments, file metrics, and onboarding cues to guide new users.

Video Analysis Tools Users can annotate transcripts, tag key moments, and collaborate with team members, with AI-generated insights layered into the experience.

Roles & Access Control Role-based permissions give case owners control over file access and visibility into access history, supporting security and accountability across cases.

Account Management Users can update their account info and notification preferences, as well as manage billing, subscriptions, and third-party app connections.
